Farm Animal Experience
Tours only available in Level 1 or below.
We also offer a guided walk to meet and feed our friendly farm animals, as well as a brief talk on how we run our 200 acre bull beef farm.
You will have the opportunity to say hello to some of our pet sheep, 4 alpaca, Eponine the Kune Kune pig, collect the chicken eggs and feed the ducks. Sometimes you will also meet our pet cows Demelza and Millie, it just depends on which part of the farm they happen be at the time. Usually we are accompanied by one of our working dogs.
We winter lamb late July/August & in August/September we are rearing calves.
We provide gumboots for you to wear so remember to bring a pair of socks, and we don't recommend wearing your fanciest clothes, it is a farm after all!
BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL and must be organised at least a day in advance.
Generally Tour time will be 1pm however depending on work commitments we can be flexible with times so please enquire.
Minimum of 2 adults required for the tour to run.
